PASSING BY is a site specific performance where three partner acrobats take the audience on a journey through the(ir) city. With their movement vocabulary that is focussed on creating an organic and flowing way of partner acrobatics they move over the city stairs, walls, edges and corners. They discover the balance and rhythm of the city from an acrobatic view point and give the audience a new perspective of something that is known and familiar to them.

It is an eye opening experience to see something you know so well in a different light or different angle. People move through the city every day, and with this performance Knot on Hands takes the audience to move with the city together.

Knot on Hands takes inspiration from the city, adapting and shaping their physical material differently to each city, creating a unique experience for the audience with each performance.
